Verses + voice,
Something true.

Cameron Brooks is singer-songwriter, guitarist, and keyboardist whose lyric-driven music draws from the storytelling traditions of Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Gregory Alan Isakov. Featured in the Conshohocken Arts Festival and performing regionally, he has opened for The John Byrne Band, performed on stages across the Delaware Valley, and is currently in the studio working on debut professional recordings.

In just over a year of intensive songwriting, Brooks has built a full set of original songs that span the full emotional spectrum. Tender and somber, haunted and sardonic. His work explores love that survives loss, the loneliness of restless searching, and the struggles of spirituality. Originally from Houston, Texas and now based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Brooks blends Americana, folk rock, and country influences into an absorbed sound that supports the stories he tells.
