Featured in the Conshohocken Arts Festival and performing regionally, he has opened for The John Byrne Band, performed on stages across the Delaware Valley, and is currently in the studio working on debut professional recordings.

Originally from Houston, Texas and now based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Brooks blends Americana, folk rock, and country influences into an absorbed sound that draws from the storytelling traditions of Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Gregory Alan Isakov.
